The Spectrum Film Club
The Spectrum Film Club was developed in response to a need for an ASN cinema night in East Dunbartonshire.
Having been run at Kilmardinny House in Bearsden for the last few years, the Film Club is now being relocated to Kirkintilloch to see if a change in venue will attract more regular visitors.
The Local Area Coordinators have partnered with Kirky Cinema to bring this ASN film screening to the Kirkintilloch Town Hall, on the last Saturday of the month at 1pm.
Kirky Cinema has agreed to host films on Saturday 26 September, Saturday 31 October, Saturday 28 November and Sunday 20 December.
The screenings will follow the original Spectrum Film Club format with the group having the opportunity to prepare an opening speech and some housekeeping guidelines. The room will be set out as a safe and inclusive space for those with additional support considerations.

On next at the Spectrum Film Club
The toys are back in Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 5,” and this time it’s Toy meets Tech. Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad, a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie. Will playtime ever be the same?
